The Backyard.

Not much going on around here in the yard. Guess its to hot and dry for anything to be happening.
Tree/brush cleanup continues, yea i am doing it slow, just a little at a time since i am not in a hurry.

Backyard is neatly mowed, wish the front was ,lol.
Had to go to Wally World this morning an of course had to browse their garden area. I was looking for one more butterfly bush but evidently they arent going to have them this year, or not yet.

While i was looking i saw they had a large amount of new tomato plants so i took a look. Came out of there with two - a Black Krim from Heirloom and a Cherokee Purple. Both are already in the ground.
Whats odd is i dont even eat tomatoes, just had to plant something. I did see some other things i may get just to plant them.
Yes i will be giving the tomatoes away when they ripen later.

The rabbits are hiding out during the day so i havent seen them at all. Even the birds are staying cool somewhere cause i havent seen many today while working in the yard.
I did manage to get six used tires that i will be using for planters, they really do make good ones, i have used them before an still have two in the yard with plants in them.

By the end of summer if i get the back cleaned up i will have a area about 12 foot deep that will need to be filled in, now that may be work. I really didnt think that the bushes had that much of my back yard covered up till i started cleaning it out.
I really will need to put some bushes in there for the birds to nest in since right now there isnt a lot there, just about all of it is on the ground to be cut up an left to rot away - soil improvment.

Well thats it for today, have a good rest of the weekend.
