The Backyard

Yep i missed posting on Saturday an nearly forgot to post today.

Things are coming along nicely, got more brush cut an moved, guess maybe i am about one half way done now but still more to do. Once its down i will put a covering of dirt over a lot of it, should be a huge compost pile back there when i am done.

Cindy came up early Saturday with several plants for me , blueberries, hosta, yellowbells, lilles, and red honeysuckle. Some is already in the ground an i have some in pots as temporary homes till they get over the shock of being dug up.
They will all be in the gound soon when i finally decide where to put them.
A trip to Wally World later in the week to pick up a couple of more things.

The butterfly bushes are now doing good, growing fast an should start to bloom soon. I need one more to fill out their round garden area. I lost 2 last year an came close to to losing a third one but its coming back now.

The Flickers have moved from the rotten tree they were trying to nest in and some other birds took the hole over. My backporch mockingbirds seem to possibly have moved also, i think to a bush in the front yard, which is okay with me.

Every morning lately i have been walking out the door headed for work and seeing a wren who sleeps in the corner of my porch, makes me wonder if its the same one that did it last year. Its kinda funny seeing it sleeping there all squeezed up in the corner.
