Backyard fun or not.

The past couple of weeks have been hit or miss working and improving the backyard.

The weather has been either very hot an humid or either storms which either of those things make yardwork hard to do.

Still seeing many young birds being fed by adults, makes me wonder if this is a new hatching or just a late one for many birds.

I had thought that there would be a lot more insects this year but so far that does not seem to be the case. Its surprising since we had such a mild winter. One thing still missing is honey bees, still havent seen but a very few of them. One thing is certain to me is something is killing them off, be it something normal or something we are causing.

Have you ever paid attention to people and their yards or their yardwork. Most go thru the motions, mowing grass, trimming when needed. How many are actually managing their yard, very few i suspect. A plant dies they take it up, a few may actually replace it but are they replacing it with something good or bad. Thats it for now, have a good day.
