Time to Blog

well a short one anyways.

in the backyard -
since the storm of 2011 i havent seen a single hummer, still got one feeder up just in case.
got some flowers blooming but still have some that havent as of yet.

got a good deal on birdseed thru Cindy - 50lb bag for $13. so the birds are happy. i had goldfinches for a short time but they are gone evidently, havent seen any since the storm.
got plenty of doves around an they hang out in the yard or around it a lot. of course robins are always hunting for items to eat.
some of the backyard birds have grown use to me being out there so they dont fly away but they just keep a little distance in between - esp the robins.

this year the rabbits have returned an there are several that poke around in the yard - havent seen the hawk as of yet, maybe it moved on,, while i dont mind them they do have a habit of devouring other wildlife.

one thing i have noticed this year that upsets me - havent seen even one honey bee yet, not even when my plum tree blossomed out - no plums this year., oh well.
